RIYADH: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has readied 15,948 mosques and 3,939 open-air prayer grounds across Saudi Arabia for Eid Al-Fitr prayers in 1446 AH.
Preparations were carried out through regional branches, ensuring thorough maintenance, cleaning, and safety measures to provide worshippers with a peaceful and devotional environment.
The ministry emphasized its commitment to maintaining houses of worship and instructed mosque officials to hold Eid prayers 15 minutes after sunrise, as per the Umm Al-Qura calendar.
To ensure full readiness, over 6,000 male and female inspectors have been deployed to monitor mosques and prayer sites.
The ministry urged citizens and residents to report any service issues via the Beneficiary Services Center in 1933.
It also encouraged everyone to embrace the blessings of Eid by performing good deeds, strengthening family ties, and attending prayers in congregation.
